Children's Ministry
August means BACK TO SCHOOL! So, I want to wish all the parents God's Blessing as they
prepare their Children with School Shopping, Sleep re-training, and all that goes with
that. Our Summer comes to a close here at Highland First Baptist Church, and we are
going to take it easy for a couple of months as we plan for a Fun Fall!

Events we have enjoyed recently...
July and August. We had a wonderful VBS this year,
different this year because we held it in the daytime.
Great turnout and the kids learned a lot and had lots of fun.
Once again this year we held our Children's Camp at Lake Swan with a
number of parents participating. Looking forward to next years trip.
August 2010
Our Church went to Kinglsey Lake at Camp Blanding. The fun started
at 10:00 a.m. and we continued on, even though we were threatened
with rain. We all enjoyed Hamburgers, Hotdogs, and numerous
water sports. If you would like to join us next year, please come
to visit one of our Worship Services and find out all the coming
events being planned for our children and adults.
