His Free Gift to YOU

 

1.What is the Christian faith all about?
"I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes" (Romans 1:16).

 

2.The problem is sin. Sin equals missing the mark.
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).

 

3.God loves us in spite of our sin.
"But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8).

 

4.Sin earns death, but God gives life.
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23).

 

5.Confess and trust equals life for you.
"That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:9-10,13).

 

6.Faith equals life for God.
"Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - which is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will" (Romans 12:1-2).

Heavenly Father,
I have sinned against you. I want forgiveness for all my sins - my past sins, present sins, and future sins. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for me and rose again. Father, I give you my life to do with as you wish. I want Jesus Christ to come into my life and into my heart. This I ask in Jesus' name.
